Letter & Envelope Details

Our magical Santa letter envelopes come with a matte gold foiled monogram of The Mailroom Of Santa Claus, 3 custom artisan stamp designs, a white personalised printed address and a white monogram wax seal. Your envelopes will arrive unsealed.

Our two colour options for our envelopes are Green & Red. We have chosen these colours to reflect our love of traditional Christmas design & style.

Our envelopes measure 190 x 130mm and are designed to fit perfectly inside our Santa Letter Keepsake Boxes.

Our stunning foiled Santa Letters measure 240 x 180mm and are printed on a thick, textured ivory cardstock. It was important to us that the letters feel as authentic as possible, as if straight from the desk of Santa Claus. Our letters are then folded down the centre to fit inside the envelope.

Once placing your order for your Personalised Letter From Santa Claus, your letter goes straight into production! The Mailroom Co then take all your special details and turns them into a custom one-of-a-kind letter and envelope just for you.

We aim to ship all orders with letters within 5-10 business days of ordering, depending on demand.

Our Santa Letters & Santa Boot Stencils are, on most occasions, shipped free using snail mail (untracked/stamps). Registered post, which is trackable, can be purchased at checkout, as well as Express Post and International Post.

The Letter From Santa

In our Non-Believer letter from Santa Claus, there are seven elements of personalisation. There are spaces to include your child's name, how many Christmases Santa has watched over your child, your favourite characteristics about your child and an act of kindness task to initiate them into the Santa Claus club. Finally a personalised P.S. message at the bottom.

The Font

We have two font options for our letters. One is a "fancy" cursive font and other is a classic and timeless "Block" font.

We have two options incase you need your letter to be more legible for children at a reading level.

  • Holiday Fun

    At The Mailroom we are all about sentimental Christmas items and family heirlooms.

    A cherished Christmas memory from our founders Grandparent's home, is classic children’s Christmas book "Holiday Fun". The book cover is of a girl and a boy standing on a fence and the girl is blowing a horn and the boy is blowing a trumpet. The book was published in 1900 and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to turn it into one of our 2024 stamps.

  • Reindeer

    We want each of our stamps to be a piece of artwork in their own right. This portrait of one of Santa's reindeers, Comet, is one of our favourites. A classic black and white etching of our hardworking boy taking a break, nestled amongst some trees.

    Did you notice all of our stamps are 25c? The little details are so important to us. The 25 is representative of our favourite day of the year! December 25th.

  • Santa Claus

    Every year in the North Pole, Santa Claus gathers with his elves for a very special tradition: the unveiling of his annual portrait. To share this moment with children around the world, we have included Santa's portrait as one of our 2024 stamps, ensuring that each letter carries an extra piece of Santa Claus. When you receive a letter from Santa, you're not just getting his words, you’re receiving a part of the North Pole’s most cherished tradition.

Beautifully presented & a new tradition

Seeing Tash’s beautiful work on a friend’s Instagram, prompted me to begin a new tradition with our 1 yr old. When the letter arrived & I opened it, every touch was meticulously thought out - from the “adults eye’s only” on the box, to the gorgeous stamps & even the liner of the envelope. It was even more magical than I imagined. I couldn’t stop crying reading Santa’s letter to my partner & he was just as impressed as I was. Santa’s letter even found us in NZ, Tash’s prompt communication & letter arrival was just perfect.

Gorgeous in every way

Having just had a baby four months ago and now leading into Christmas I knew it was important that we start a beautiful family tradition. My partner bless his socks wanted elf and the shelf and I wanted no part in it.. then I came across these and didn’t hesitate to buy the letter box and the first Christmas letter. When it arrived to say it was stunning and I openly said wow when I opened the packaging is still an understatement. From the products used to create everything form the box to the letter, them imagination involved from the creator and the colours is outstanding.

I have already read the letter and had a tear the words written are beautiful and I can’t wait for my partner to read it out Christmas Eve to our then 6month old and also get lost in the magic of Santa with me as a family.

Does My Santa Letter Arrive Sealed?

Great question! Our Letters from Santa Claus feature a stunning white, monogrammed wax seal on the back of the envelope, adding a final authentic touch.

The wax seal is placed strategically on the bottom of the envelope flap to create the illusion of a sealed envelope without actually sealing it. This allows you to check your letters upon arrival. While you can lick and stick the envelope flap, any form of sealing will most likely result in damage to the envelope when opening, we reccommend just leaving the flap open.

How Should I Store My Santa Letters?

Preserving your Letters from Santa as cherished heirlooms was a top priority for us. We envision these letters becoming a beloved part of your family's Christmas tradition, year after year.
